Das Team UWAGE hat seine Dokumentation über Andamane wieder vorgesetzt. Seit über 15 Jahren arbeiten Bernd, Sukanya, Harald und Hans Jochen an einer Langzeit-Dokumentation über die Andamanen See. Ausgangspunkt der Reise war diesmal die Insel Koh Lanta. Im Mittelpunkt der diesjährigen Film Expedition standen der marine Makrobereich sowie Verhaltensweisen verschiedener Krabbelmeister im Riff.

Hin Daeng (“Red Rock”) Smile
If Richelieu Rock is the best dive site in Northern Andaman, then Hin
Deang and Hin Muang, the striking twin outcrops alone in the open sea,
are undoubtedly be the best of Southern Andaman. Meaning ‘red rock’
in Thai, Hin Deang is covered with red soft corals, which makes the rock
appear red. Only three small pinnacles are visible from the surface, but
once underwater, the vast form of Hin Deang stretches 30-40 mt down

Ko Ha Islands The group of Koh Haa Islands hosts 5 small rocky islands and Koh Haa Yai Island. This area is one of the most amazing dive sites of the southern Andaman Sea, with its great variety of coral reef structures and tropical marine life. Ko Ha Nueng (1) Koh Haa Nueng is the northernmost island of Koh Haa group. The island is surrounded by reefs, with the north coast featuring a wall line covered with soft coral, sea fans and barrel sponge. A hard coral reef slope stretches from the southeast side to the east side of this island. The maximum depth at Koh Haa Nueng is 25-30 mt.

Das Ko Lanta Diving Center

Das Ko Lanta Diving Center wurde 1992 als erste Tauchbasis auf der gleichnamingen Insel von dem bekannten Buchautoren und Unterwasserfotografen Christian Mietz gegruendet. Die deutsche Tauchbasis hat ihren Hauptsitz in Saladan und eine grossee, modern eingerichtete Ausbildungs Dependance im Lanta Island Resort direkt am herrlichen Klong Dao Beach.

 

Ausbildung

Ko Lanta Diving Center ist C.M.A.S. 5 Star Examiner Academy und PADI Dive Center.
Die Tauchausbildung richtet sich nach den internationalen Standards der Tauchverbaende der C.M.A.S. (Weltverband des Tauchsports) und PADI (amerikanische Organisation).Alle Tauchkurse sind international weltweit anerkannt und werden in deutscher, englischer, italienischer, spanischer und thailaendischer Sprache unterrichtet.
Tauchkurse bis zum Divemaster (PADI) und bis zum Tauchlehrer (C.M.A.S.). C.M.A.S. Tauchlehrer- und Crossover Kurse finden von November bis Mai jeweils einmal monatlich statt.
Kindertauchkurse sind ab einem Alter von 8 Jahren im Programm.
Ein resorteigener Swimmingpool steht im Lanta Island Resort zur Verfuegung.
